Pinot Noir (Savaria Vineyard) - Located on the southern side of the Santa Cruz Mountains outside Corralitos with direct exposure to the Pacific Ocean. At only 400 feet above sea level - standing in the vineyard it almost feels like you can reach out and touch the Pacific. The exposure and cool nights play an important role – especially in hot years. This was some of the most well-balanced fruit we’ve ever harvested; clean, beautiful and ready to create expressive, site driven Pinot Noir.
Chardonnay (Rancho Vinedo Vineyard) - Located at Western portion of the original Rancho Tepusquet Land Grant, was planted to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes in 1973 by the Robert N. Woods family. Old vines, on their own roots are the main draw of Rancho Viñedo. The completely unique million-year-old soils have strong association to the land.
Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands) - Sitting just north of the old Salinas River on top of the rocky soils comprised of decomposed granite, quartz and thick coastal fog, you’ll find our Pinot vineyard. It’s no accident that our vineyard is planted among many of the most established and notable estates in the Santa Lucia Highlands, known for cultivating what many say to be the location of the most flavorful and intense fruit of any vineyard planted throughout the Santa Lucia Highlands (SLH).
Pinot Noir (Savaria Vineyard) - Big bright aromatics with scents of wild strawberry, baking spices and wonderful minerality. Velvety on the palate with well-integrated acid that leads to a wonderful finish. This wine will drink well now or can age well over the course of the next 10+ years.
Chardonnay (Rancho Vinedo Vineyard) - Light lemon-yellow color in the glass. Exuberant perfume of lemon cream, tropical fruits, buttery brioche, caramel and floral bouquet. Crisp, vivid and bright on the palate, with fruit flavors of lemon and pineapple and a hint of salinity. Harmonious, clean and fresh, with plenty of fruit goodness, and a vibrant disposition.
Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands) - Dark reddish-purple color in the glass. Aromas of black cherry, cola, spice, sweet pipe smoke and even a hint of diaper. Full-bodied, with a delectable sweet black cherry core accented with notes of spice and stem. The fine-grain tannins are modest, with a pleasing finish.
