California’s Central Coast is dynamic, as climate, topography, and soil types vary throughout the coastline. Influenced by the Monterey Bay, coastal vineyards experience marine micro-climates resulting in an extended growing season. Warm days & cool coastal afternoon breeze create a truly unique and desirable region.
A perfect spring and early bud break coupled with the typical daytime temperatures led to an exceptional harvest throughout the Central Coast. Evening temperatures were warmer than normal, causing earlier ripening and slightly less acidity.
Artfully crafted, this Central Coast Pinot Noir is a 50/50 blend comprised of grapes from the Santa Cruz Mountains and Santa Lucia Highlands. Standout flavors and aromas of cranberry and cherry with subtle spice are followed by a soft, elegant finish.
